Eighteen residences built around courtyards of volcanic stone.
Casa Lumen brings the studio's hotel discipline to eighteen private homes in Condesa. Each residence is planned like a suite — a clear arrival, a generous bathing room, a kitchen that can host — and each opens onto a shared courtyard cut from tezontle, the porous volcanic stone the city is built on.
The art programme is entirely local: forty-two commissions from Mexico City workshops, catalogued for the owners with the maker's name and the street where it was made.
